When can babies wear sunscreen?
For babies under 6 months, shade, protective clothing and a broad-brim hat come first. From around 6 months, sunscreen can be introduced on small areas of exposed skin, alongside those same protections. Patch test before first use, and speak with your GP or child and family health nurse if you are unsure.
Does it leave a white cast?
No. It is formulated to blend seamlessly, with no white cast.
Is it fragrance-free?
Yes. Fragrance-free, and free from essential oils.
Is it water resistant?
Water resistant up to 4 hours. Reapply every 2 hours and after swimming or towelling.
Can the whole family use it?
Yes. Gentle enough for babies, made for the whole family, on face and body.
Has the SPF been independently tested?
Yes. Independently tested by Eurofins Dermatest to a mean SPF of 61.0 (ISO 24444 and AS/NZS 2604:2012). The results are on our SPF testing page.
- Apply generously 15 to 20 minutes before sun exposure.
- Reapply every 2 hours and after swimming or towelling.
- Use with shade, a hat and protective clothing.
- Keep the 30g travel size in the bag for reapplying when you are out.
Free from oxybenzone, homosalate, parabens, phthalates, sulphates, petroleum, triclosan, BPA, essential oils and fragrance.
Active ingredients: bemotrizinol 20 mg/g, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane 25 mg/g, octocrylene 70 mg/g, phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid 20 mg/g.
